Xichen Wang

Xichen started his PhD in June 2021 at the Welding Engineering and Laser Processsing Centre, Cranfield University. He holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering. His current research focuses on the realm of laser and wire additive manufacturing of small features. Before coming to Cranfield University to pursue his master’s degree in 2019, he worked at China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation (CRRC) Dalian Institute Co., Ltd as an international welding engineer, mainly responsible for the welding processing of the heating exchangers of the high-speed bullet trains.
