There is still time to register for the next Industrial Project Presentations day, held at Cranfield University on 29th April, Vincent Building, 9am - 3.30pm.
This year we have 30 projects being presented in a multi-track event covering design, manufacturing and materials. Our full time students will have spent three months full time in groups delivering on strategic projects for their industrial clients. The presentation day provides an opportunity for the students to demonstrate the value that they have brought to the clients as well as an opportunity for you to network during the breaks. Posters for the projects will be on display on the day and brochures for each project will be distributed.
Our WAAMMat consortium has two projects to showcase:
- Manufacture of Titanium Aerospace test parts with a local shielding device
- Thermo-mechanical Processing of Ti-6Al-4V welds: a comparison between wrought and additive manufacturing products
