Ruofeng Cao

Ruofeng started his PhD at Cranfield University in July 2023. Prior to this, he obtained a dual BSc degree of Mechanical Engineering in China and the UK. He focused on multi-axis based Additive Manufacturing of polymer and received an MSc of Advanced Manufacturing in 2021 from the University of Manchester.

Ruofeng current research area is induction heating for Wire Additive Manufacturing, including conducting multiphysics modelling to provide the rationale that could guide the optimisation of the induction heating for Additive Manufacturing and developing new process prototypes.
