Zahraddeen Musa
Zahraddeen started his PhD in Manufacturing at Cranfield University early 2022. His research is focused on Oil and Gas Pipeline Repair using Advanced Gas Metal Arc Welding Process. Zahraddeen obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria in 2008 and 2016 respectively. His MSc thesis titled “Effects of Copper and Section Thickness on Some Mechanical Properties and the Morphology of Graphite Flakes in Gray Cast Iron” has been presented as Conference papers in Nigeria. In 2019, he joined the services of Ahmadu Bello University as a Senior Strategic Research Officer. Since then, he has developed a huge interest in finding solutions to the educational and infrastructural problems that are bedevilling Nigeria. Within this period, he has supervised four undergraduate students with research interest in corrosion, composites, alloying, casting, and welding.
